Telehealth Sessions Available

As a society we are facing new challenges in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Our doors remain open to patients in our Wake Forest and Cary locations, and while we feel in-person care is the most effective way to deliver therapy, we know some patients may be uncomfortable with venturing out of their homes at this time.

We are excited to offer online telehealth PT sessions for our patients during the COVID-19 crisis. These secure e-visits will allow you full access to a licensed physical therapist and includes the following:

  • One-on-one consultation with a physical therapist to discuss your condition and medical history
  • Therapist-led exercise demonstration and walk-through
  • Recommended stretching routines
  • Individualized program for at-home maintenance

A smartphone, tablet or computer with internet connection is required. We recommend you dress as you would for a PT visit to our office so that you may effectively complete your exercises and/or stretches with the guidance of your PT.

Not all conditions may be telehealth-appropriate including patients with balance deficiencies, and those receiving dry needling or pelvic health services at our physical clinic locations.

At this time, Medicare covers telehealth visits for PT as part of the COVID-19 response. Some workers’ comp companies are covering telerehab visits at 100%. Other insurance payers such as BlueCross BlueShield of NC, United Healthcare and Cigna have added temporary telehealth options for physical therapy during the pandemic.

Cost per session for non-Medicare and non-workers’ comp patients is $40.00, and we will collect your credit card information at time of scheduling. Your card will be charged when your session commences. All sessions are HIPAA compliant.

We are committed to the health of our patients, and would like to continue progress at home for the best outcomes. We look forward to seeing you soon! Contact us at 919.556.4678 to get started.
