Leigh earned a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Shenandoah University, and a BS in exercise science from the University of South Alabama.
Leigh discovered physical therapy quite by accident after graduating with her undergraduate degree. She knew little about physical therapy, but learned through experience as a physical therapy aide helping the therapists keep the clinic clean and patients well looked after, and decided to take the plunge to become a therapist herself. She now enjoys treating patients with a large variety of orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal pain. She enjoys utilizing and honing her manual therapy skills to better improve her patient’s pain and function.
Leigh is a native of Louisiana and has spent many a Mardi Gras out on the parade routes in her home town of Slidell, 30 minutes from New Orleans. She grew up with an appreciation of good food and loves to cook not only Southern and classic American food but has been learning to make her favorite dishes from Indian cuisine. She also enjoys painting, drawing and played tennis throughout high school and recreationally as an adult. While not much of a runner, she prefers hiking, yoga and resistance training.
Leigh is taking new patient appointments at our Cary and Wake Forest clinic locations.
