Heather Smith, DPT

Heather earned her doctorate of physical therapy at the University of South Alabama. Previously, she obtained a bachelors of science in kinesiology with specialization in exercise physiology and a minor in psychology from Auburn University.

Heather has experience with a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses from local high school athletes to geriatric patients. She is specially trained in vestibular therapy treating conditions such as vertigo, and is also dry needling certified. Heather enjoys working with patients with special needs and volunteers at a summer and fall camp for adults with special needs.

She was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama and lived in Auburn with her husband until moving to North Carolina. Her husband Andrew is a local parks & rec director, and in her spare time Heather enjoys spending time with her family and outside activities.

Heather is taking new patient appointments at our Rolesville and Wake Forest physical therapy offices.
